Night battles took place throughout the night, especially in the north and south, said Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a representative of the RA Ministry of Defense, during a briefing at the Armenian unified infocenter.
"Our armed forces managed to make new positional improvements, the enemy did not rest, in some places carried out counterattacks, which we repulsed. Early in the morning, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces resumed their offensive operations, using artillery, including heavy ones. At the moment, our armed forces are waging stubborn and heroic battles", Hovhannisyan said.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense added that at the moment we have about 200 wounded, some of whom have been transferred to Yerevan. All are under proper medical supervision in various military and civilian hospitals.
