The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs has issued a statement referring to the hostilities launched by Azerbaijan in the direction of Artsakh.
"France is deeply concerned about the ongoing large-scale clashes in Nagorno-Karabakh and the reports of civilian casualties, and calls for an immediate end to hostilities and a resumption of dialogue", the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"At the same time, as a co-chair of the Minsk Group, France, together with its Russian and American partners, reaffirmed its commitment to a negotiated and lasting settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in accordance with international law".
