The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with French President Emanuel Macron. The Prime Minister stated that today Azerbaijan has launched military operations along the entire line of contact with Artsakh. He expressed deep concern over the situation and its further aggravation.
In particular, it was stressed that Azerbaijan is resorting to provocations to launch military operations in the direction of the state border with the Republic of Armenia. The RA Prime Minister drew the interlocutor's attention to the very biased and aggressive position of Turkey and the need to stop the possible intervention of that country.
The President Macron expressed deep concern over the situation and said that further escalation of tensions is unacceptable. He considered it necessary to take all measures to end hostilities and defuse tensions. He also stressed the importance of intensifying the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to restore peace in the region.
