The RA Ministry of Defense spokeswoman Shusha Stepanyan made a note calling on the peaceful population of Artsakh to take refuge and not to take to the streets, as the enemy continues shelling civilian settlements.
"We urge the civilian population of Artsakh not to go out the street as the opponent continues to fire civilian settlements, including the capital Stepanakert.
An active artillery shelling began across the perimeter of the line of contact this early morning. Civil settlements, including the capital Stepanakert, are also being fired. We call on the population to hide in shelters. At the same time, we declare that our response will be proportional, and the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan is responsible for the situation", the note reads.
