"According to Article 155, Part 1 of the Constitutional Law "Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly", Gayane Abrahamyan, a deputy of the "My Step" faction of the RA National Assembly, submitted her resignation on September 25.
According to Part 2 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law "Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly", if within one week after the announcement of the resignation, the deputy withdraws his / her resignation application in writing, the Speaker of the National Assembly shall make a statement. If he / she does not withdraw his / her resignation, a protocol on the termination of his / her powers shall be drawn up, which shall be signed and published by the Speaker of the National Assembly.
Resignation is considered accepted from the moment of publication of the protocol", reads the statement of RA NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan.
