The spokeswoman for the RA Minister of Defense Shushan Stepanyan informed that the firing phase of the "Caucasus 2020" strategic command-staff exercise has started in "Alagyaz" shooting range, with the involvement of the units of Southern Military District and RA Armed Forces.
"Rifle, artillery, tank, aviation, air defense forces and means take part in the practical exercises, headed by the commander of the joint group of troops, lieutenant general Tigran Parvanyan.
In general, more than 1.500 people and about 300 units of military-technical means are involved in the "Caucasus 2020" military exercises in Armenia", Stepanyan wrote on his Facebook page.
