At today's sitting of the GovernmentThe the Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan reported on the issue of approving the proposal to sign the agreement Between the Republic of Armenia and the European Commission on “Support to the Implementation of Judicial Reform in Armenia. Phase I". The program is aimed at financially supporting reforms in the field of justice.
Grigoryan noted that the assistance provided by the agreement is 30 million euros, of which 27 million will be provided in the form of direct budget support, the remaining 3 million in the form of technical assistance.
"After the signing of the agreement, 9 million euros will be transferred to the state budget at a time, and the rest will be providedwill be provided in parts (9 million euros each time) over 21 years", Grigoryan said.
According to the Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan, the first 9 million euros are planned to be received this year.
