The Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan today upheld the motion of the State Revenue Committee to detain former Armenian Ambassador to the Vatican Mikayel Minasyan. Arevik Khachatryan, head of the public relations department of the RA Prosecutor's Office, informed 1lurer.am about that.
Mikael Minasyan was involved as a defendant in the criminal case under investigation by the SRC Investigation Department for illegal enrichment, money laundering and presenting false information in the declaration. He is wanted.
Mikael Minasyan is the son-in-law of the former President Serzh Sargsyan.
