The RA NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the RA independence. The message says:
"Dear citizens of the Republic of Armenia, dear compatriots, I congratulate all of us on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia.
The independence referendum held on this day in 1991 gave de jure content to the natural area where we Armenians lived, and called it the homeland. After September 21, we are not only Armenians, and this territory is the homeland, but also citizens of the Republic of Armenia who live in the Republic of Armenia.
We are given a historic opportunity to be one of about two hundred peoples who have the opportunity to live and create in their independent state. Accordingly, by our actions we must fix the irreversibility of our sovereignty every day, Every day we must regain the right to have an independent Armenia and use our best qualities for the glory of a united Republic of Armenia.
