Armenia has been very consistent in its approach to the peace process. The Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told this reporters at the Yerablur military pantheon, in response to "Lurer"'s observation, that the OSCE Minsk Group called on the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia to return to the talks without preconditions.
"Armenia has been very consistent in its approaches to the peace process. We have more than clearly emphasized that there is no alternative to the process, that a settlement is possible only through peaceful means, and we say this on the basis of absolute self-confidence, as Armenia and Artsakh are fully capable of defending their interests and borders. In that sense, we are absolutely committed to a peaceful settlement.
It is in this logic that we have been and are ready to continue the peace process and to continue the work we have done in the meantime. Our resolve has never diminished. There is clarity on our part in terms of negotiations, I can not say anything about the other side. We are collaborating with the co-chairs, we are always in touch", Mnatsakanyan said, congratulating everyone on the occasion of Armenia's Independence Day".
