The solemn ceremony of raising the state flags of the participants of the "Caucasus-2020" strategic command-staff exercise in Armenia took place in "Alagyaz" military training place, the press service of the RF Southern Military District reported.
During the Strategic Command-staff Exercise, the tactical combat operations will be held on September 21-26, where the issues of using motorized rifle units, aviation and air defense to solve the problems of fighting the international terrorism will be worked out.
More than 1.5 thousand people and 300 units of military equipment are involved in the exercises, including the operational-tactical, army planes and drones of the participating countries. Due to the spread of coronavirus this year the exercises will be conducted in strict compliance with anti-epidemic measures.
