Lovers of Russian literature and culture are invited to a meeting at the newly opened Russian Center at 30 Tigran Mets Street. Free Russian language courses, Russian fiction and professional literature, educational materials, large databases.
And all this in the small, chamber area of the Isahakyan Central Library branch. It was established on the initiative of the "Moscow House" Center in cooperation with the library. Russian Ambassador Kopirkin is hopeful that the initiative will spread quickly beyond Yerevan.
"It is very important to create such centers. They may be small, but people come here expecting something new. I understand that Russia is well known in Armenia, but the demand to recognize today's Russia is obvious. I hope that this center will help improve the level of the Russian language and this good start will have a wonderful continuation in other cities and regions of Armenia", said Sergey Kopirkin, Russia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia.
