"We have done everything right in terms of strategy, and good luck to the commission", said the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, referring to the establishment of a parliamentary commission of inquiry into the coronavirus during the Parliament - Government question-answer session.
The Prime Minister noted that the government, as committed, was 100% transparent and continues to be transparent on the coronavirus issues.
"In general, the most important indicator to look at is the percentage of our daily positive cases with tests. We have already reached a point today, long enough, that a month and a half ago we could not even think we would reach it. Compared to the number of those tested, we have 5 or 6 percent positive cases. This means that we have detected very effectively", Pashinyan stressed.
Referring to the conclusions on the fight against coronavirus, the Prime Minister said that there are many publications in the international press that the most countries do not publish real coronavirus rates. "I can officially say that the Republic of Armenia does not belong to those countries. The public knows what the government knows about coronavirus numbers", he said.
According to him, in the fight against coronavirus the Government has done the right thing and is doing the right thing, although there were some shortcomings. "On the one hand, some accuse the government of failing to fight the coronavirus, on the other hand, they say let people not wear masks. Let's open everything, let them not fine us, let's not do anything, there is no coronavirus", the Prime Minister said.
