On September 12, The RA Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan paid an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
At the RA Embassy in Cairo, the Foreign Minister met with prominent representatives of the Armenian community in Egypt - the Primate of the Egyptian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church T. Bishop Ashot Mnatsakanyan, Primate of the Armenian Catholic Church, Bishop Grigor Ogostinos Gusan, members of community structures and unions.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Minister Mnatsakanyan highly assessed the contribution of the Egyptian-Armenian community in the preservation of national identity and historical and cultural heritage.
During the meeting, Minister Mnatsakanyan exchanged views with the representatives of the Armenian community of Egypt on the priorities of the RA foreign policy, the existing challenges and the ways of addressing them.
