The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Syunik region. In Khndzoresk community he took part in the festive events organized on the occasion of Sparapet (Supreme commander in ancient and medieval Armenia) Day.
Pashinyan also visited Mkhitar Sparapet's grave and laid flowers there. Then the military oath ceremony of 15 servicemen of a special armored battalion took place, the state anthem of Armenia has been played.
Nikol Pashinyan walked on the swinging bridge of Khndzoresk, watched the musical demonstrations performed near the vicinity of the bridge.
The Prime Minister then visited the area adjacent to Khndzoresk community hall, where he was greeted with warm applause by the people of Khndzoresk.
The Prime Minister also toured the Old Goris historical and cultural center, got acquainted with the restoration works being carried out there.
The PM was accompanied by the Minister of Defense David Tonoyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan and the Governor of Syunik Hunan Poghosyan.
