According to the RA Ministry of Health, in the period from August 31 to September 11, 46 cases of alcohol poisoning (by methanol) have been registered in Armenia, 20 of which were fatal, 25 were discharged after receiving treatment.
29 cases were registered in Armavir region (with 10 deaths), 15 cases - in Yerevan (with 8 deaths), 2 cases- in Kotayk region (with 2 deaths).
One patient is still receiving treatment in Erebuni MC. Doctors assess the latter's health condition as extremely serious.
