The Hayastan All Armenian Fund is summing up the "Urgent Aid to Lebanese-Armenians" fundraising campaign, which raised about $ 312,000.
While donating, the "Tashir" Charitable Foundation joined the fundraising campaign by donating $ 100,000. Thus, the amount raised is $ 412,000, of which $ 310,000 is distributed in proportion to the teachers of educational institutions operating in Lebanon in 2020-2021, to pay the salary for the 1st quarter of the academic year.
And $ 100,000 will be allocated for the implementation of educational programs. At the same time, $ 13,000 of the collected money will be provided to the media outlets "Ararat", "Zartonk", "Azdak", "Vana Dzayn", "Radio Sevan", operating in Lebanon.
The support of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund to Armenian educational institutions and the media in Lebanon is ongoing. It started in December 2019, when the economic crisis deepened in the country. In total, the fund has provided more than $ 600,000 in assistance over the past nine months.
