Today is the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. 19 years ago, 3,000 people were killed and 25,000 were injured in terrorist attacks in the United States.
The main events took place in New York, where two planes, piloted by terrorists, one after another crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center. This terrorist attack became the largest in world history.
On the eve of the 19th anniversary of the terrorist attack, the night sky of New York, Pennsylvania, Shanksville, Arlington Virginia was illuminated in memory of the victims of the 9/11 attacks.
