On September 10, at 1:21 p.m., the National Crisis Management Center received information that ammunition was found in the basement of the building of the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, at 17 Alek Manukyan Street in Yerevan.
The operative group of the National Crisis Management Center of the Emergency Situations Ministry left for the scene. It turned out that in the basement of the institute building, an employee noticed an object resembling a grenade mine and moved it to the yard of the building.
The sapper group found a 62 mm caliber mine with a warhead and moved it to a safe area.
Rescuers searched the two basements of the building, as a result of which no other ammunition was found.
