"According to Article 155, Part 1 of the Constitutional Law "Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly", the Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Arsen Julfalakyan submitted his resignation on September 9.
According to Part 2 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law "Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly", if within one week after the publication of the resignation, the deputy withdraws his (her) resignation application in writing, the Speaker of the National Assembly shall issue a statement. If he (she) does not withdraw his (her) resignation, a protocol on the termination of his (her) powers shall be drawn up, which shall be signed and published by the Speaker of the National Assembly.
Resignation is considered accepted from the moment of publication of the protocol", the statement of the RA NA Speaker reads.
The RA NA deputy, European and world wrestling champion, Olympic Games silver medalist Arsen Julfalakyan had applied to the NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan to resign from the parliamentary mandate.
