We can describe the financial system of Armenia as a stable and dynamically growing, which has uninterruptedly performed its function of financial intermediary over the years, as the most important function of the system is, in fact, intermediation.
The chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Martin Galstyan announced about this at today's press conference.
According to him, as private sector entities in the economy, financial organisations have also suffered from the adverse effects of the pandemic, which, however, "has not disrupted the provision of financial services".
"The third message that I consider important is that the level of capital and liquidity of organizations at the moment creates sufficient preconditions to withstand this crisis". said Martin Galstyan.
