The RA Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan made a post on his Facebook page, in which he stated that the Ministry of Environment has submitted a new project for public discussion, which proposes to exempt from VAT the import of electric trucks weighing up to 5 tons.
"Considering the importance of reducing air pollution due to harmful emissions from trucks, as well as the great interest in importing electric trucks by companies importing electric cars, now it is necessary to exempt from VAT the import of electric trucks with the weigh up to 5 tons", in particular wrote the Minister.
