The servicemen of the military base of the Southern Military District of Russia, located in Armenia, marched together with the servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia to "Kamkhud" and "Alagyaz" military training places.
An official from the press service of the Russian Armed Forces told Armenpress that servicemen of motorized rifle, tank, engineering and reconnaissance units will carry out defensive and offensive operations in reconnaissance-fire complexes with artillery, air defense, operative-tactical and army aviation support.
About a thousand servicemen of the RF AF are taking part in the joint tactical exercise, about 300 units of special military equipment, including fighter, army and unmanned aviation, are deployed.
