On the instruction of the RA Minister of Defense, the representatives of the RA Ministry of Defense visited the family of Gurgen Alaverdyan, an Armenian army officer, who is captive in Azerbaijan and came under the jurisdiction of that country.
This was reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense.
The representatives of the Ministry of Defense inquired about the socio-economic and health condition of Alaverdyan's family, assured that everything possible would be done within the competence of the Ministry of Defense to solve the problem.
