Taking into account the complaint of the fishermen of Gegharkunik region, the RA Ministry of Environment has amended a pilot program of industrial fishing of Sevan whitefish.
According to the new order, instead of the previously announced 200 tons, 300 tons of whitefish will be allowed to be caught from the lake.
Fishing already is allowed also in Small Sevan. The number of access points to the lake has increased by 8, reaching to 25. Fishermen who have not yet signed a pilot contract must hurry to obtain a permit.
Starting today, there is 10 days to apply to "Sevan National Park".
