The Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan congratulated on the Day of Knowledge and Schooling.
"Dear representatives of the field of education, accept my warm congratulations on the Day of Knowledge and Schooling. This year is also special in that the school bell will ring again in the schools that have been left idle for a long time.
Over the past few months we have had the opportunity to make sure that live communication is crucial to the education and upbringing of generations. Due to that, a bold decision was made to resume teaching in schools and universities. We have succeeded in this as a result of hard and difficult work, but I must say that the level of risk remains high, and my request is to consistently follow all the established rules.
The academic year is also marked by another important achievement. We are implementing the principle of the pre-election program put forward by the political bloc I lead, to make university education free. With this, we not only pursue the goal of solving a social problem, but also give a start to a new state policy to ensure quality education and identify the best future professionals.
The major base of developing Artsakh is tomorrow's competitive and knowledge-based generation, which is on the way to formation today, at school and university. Therefore, accept my call as an exhortation. Our overall efforts to build a prosperous future must become an assemblage of individual investment each of us.
