The RA Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan congratulated on Knowledge Day.
"Dear pupils, students, respected teachers and lecturers, education officials, parents,
Congratulations to all of us on September 1, Knowledge Day.
The past academic year was not easy for us, the unexpected challenges caused by the coronavirus epidemic created new problems, demanding new and urgent solutions. Perhaps this is the reason why there is no noise and activity of children in schoolyards today, but the epidemic can not deprive us of the determination to ensure the right to education, and our students will celebrate the symbolic "September 1" in 14 days.
I would also like to thank all of you, especially the teachers.
Dear educators, dedicated people, that in the past six months have found the strength and energy to work in emergency conditions and to successfully conclude the academic year. We all have a difficult path ahead of us: we must be able to ensure the continuity of the educational process, conduct lessons responsibly and quickly orient ourselves in the conditions of change. I wish the new academic year to become a successful start to victory and return to normal activities.
Dear pupils, you are our ally and support. I urge you to adopt a responsible attitude, to fulfill all the sanitary and hygienic requirements, to help both the teachers and the senior members of your families with your behavior and readiness, to overcome this challenge that befell our state as soon as it possible, and to win this battle.
After all the goal of education is one: to form a knowledgeable and law-abiding citizen, patriot and creative individual.
I call on you these days to take care not only of you, but also of your classmates and teachers, to redouble your efforts to overcome difficulties, to effectively solve problems, for the sake of Armenia's future, for the sake of the welfare and safe life of each of us.
Congratulations again. Let the light and power of knowledge accompany us all", the Minister Harutyunyan's congratulatory message reads.
