On August 30, at 22:07 local time (18:07 GMT) an earthquake was registered by the seismological network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, 8 km south of the village of Ashotsk in Armenia, at a depth of 10 km, with a magnitude of 2.9.
The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 4 points. The earthquake was also felt in the villages of Amasia, Ashotsk, Mets Sepasar, Pokr Sepasar and Sarapat enlarged communities of Shirak region, with a magnitude of 3 point.
