The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presents the citadel of "Ashot Yerkat" fortress - Mantashaberd, live on Facebook.
"I am in the citadel of the fortress of Armenian king "Ashot Yerkat" - Mantashaberd", the Prime Minister wrote.
"I went live at the moment because I could not but share the pleasure of this scene with you. I am now in "Ashot Yerkat" Fortress, which is 7 km away from Ijevan", said the Prime Minister.
According to him, the fragments of some buildings have been preserved, but, in general, the fortress is in ruins.
"Those who have not been here, I would definitely recommend visiting. This is our homeland. I hope you will like the view. It is a real pleasure". said the Prime Minister, urging to study the Armenian history, to read the history of "Ashot Yerkat", Mantashaberd, Bagratunis.
"We must know our history, recognize and develop our homeland", the Prime Minister concluded.
Earlier it was reported that Nikol Pashinyan will be on
vacation from August 31 to September 4.
