The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan together with Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan visited the headquarters of the Defense Army, where an official consultation took place. The Artsakh Defense Minister Jalal Harutyunyan reported on the current issues of army building.
Issues related to the further deepening of the military cooperation between Armenia and Artsakh, the improvement of the mechanisms to restraint the enemy were discussed.
In the combat positions, Pashinyan and Harutyunyan got acquainted with the works aimed at the development of engineering and fortification infrastructures, the increase of personnel security, the new technologies of reliable defense, the social and living conditions of the servicemen.
Yesterday Artsakh had new heroes. The posthumous title of Hero of Artsakh was awarded to the first chairman of the Supreme Council of Artsakh Arthur Mkrtchyan and Captain Armenak Urfanyan, who died heroically in the April 2016 war.
