The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 11:00, on August 28, a total of 43,451 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of whom 37,264 have recovered and 869 are fatal. At present 5,052 patients are being treated for coronavirus. In total 202,253 tests were performed.
On August 26, 181 new positive cases have been registered, 276 have recovered, 5 deaths (4 women 53, 55, 65, 72 and a man 79). All of them had side chronical diseases.
1 death was reported the previous day when the patient was diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, but died of another illness. The total number of such cases is 266.
