Today, Dr. Hagop (Hrayr) Hovaguimian was awarded the title of National Hero of the Republic of Armenia. By the petition of the RA Prime Minister, the President signed a decree on awarding him the Order of the Homeland.
"At the beginning of the year the Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan asked the Prime Minister to submit the president a petition to award the Order of the Homerland to Dr. Hagop (Hrayr) Hovaguimian for his exceptional services in the development of health care in Armenia, the creation of an innovative medical center, performing complex heart surgeries, training many new specialists, saving many human lives and for many years of selfless work”. The Ministry of Health noted this on his Facebook on Thursday.
"Minister Arsen Torosyan and the entire staff of the Ministry of Health thank Dr. Hagop (Hrayr) Hovaguimian, congratulate him on receiving the high title and wish him good health," the RA Ministry of Health reported.
