The press secretary of the Ministry of Defense Shushan Stepanyan made a post on her Facebook page, in which she referred to the criminal case against the lost Armenian soldier Gurgen Alaverdyan initiated in Azerbaijan.
"The Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan and the FSB have issued a joint statement noting that a criminal case has been filed against the lost soldier Gurgen Alaverdyan under five different articles. All the accusations are nonsense, and the process is a low-quality traditional performance.."
"The RA Ministry of Defense is in constant contact with international structures and continues to work intensively on the situation," Stepanyan wrote.
