The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 11:00, on August 24, a total of 42,825 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of whom 36,049 have recovered and 854 are fatal. At present 5,666 patients are being treated for coronavirus. In total 195,574 tests were performed.
On August 24, 33 new positive cases have been registered, 58 have recovered, 2 deaths (women 72, 71). Both of them had side chronical diseases.
1 death was reported the previous day when the patient was diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, but died of another illness. The total number of such cases is 256.
