The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 11:00, on August 23, a total of 42,792 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of whom 35,991 have recovered and 852 are fatal. At present 5,694 patients are being treated for coronavirus. In total 195,194 tests were performed.
On August 23, 176 new positive cases have been registered, 84 have recovered, 2 deaths (men 71, 62). Both of them had side chronical diseases.
1 death was reported the previous day when the patient was diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, but died of another illness. The total number of such cases is 255.
