The RA NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
"30 years ago, on this day, the deputies of the newly elected Supreme Council of the Republic of Armenia, expressing the united will of the people of Armenia, affirmed the sovereign right of our fathers, us and our children to live and create in independent Armenia.
The Declaration of Independence of Armenia is the best expression of the national aspirations of all Armenians, which has been, is, and will be one of the key documents guiding the social-political relations of the Republic of Armenia. We always have to return to that Document to understand the direction we are moving as a state and society.
"I congratulate all of us on this significant anniversary", the NA Speaker's message reads.
