The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 11:00, on August 21, a total of 42,477 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of whom 35,693 have recovered and 842 are fatal. At present 5,689 patients are being treated for coronavirus. In total 192,199 tests were performed.
On August 21, 158 new positive cases have been registered, 217 have recovered, 6 deaths (men 75, 82 women 84, 85, 92, 51). All of them had side chronical diseases.
2 deaths were reported the previous day when the patients were diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, but died of another illness. The total number of such cases is 253.
