The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 11:00, on August 20, a total of 42,319 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of whom 35,476 have recovered and 836 are fatal. At present 5,756 patients are being treated for coronavirus. In total 190,560 tests were performed.
On August 20, 263 new positive cases have been registered, 250 have recovered, 3 deaths (man 55, women 61,81). All of them had side chronical diseases.
2 deaths were reported the previous day when the patients were diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, but died of another illness. The total number of such cases is 251.
