The Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan posted on his Facebook page that he had a video call yesterday with Andranik Baghdasaryan, one of the major donors to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund.
"Every day the care and thinking of a person born in Beirut and emigrated to the distant United States is the Homeland. He is the largest donor for the construction of the Vardenis-Martakert strategic highway.
We discussed the problems facing our people in the Homeland and the Diaspora, touched upon the current situation of the Lebanese-Armenians, as well as issues related to the organization of their repatriation if necessary. I also presented to Mr. Baghdasaryan the details of some security, economic and social programs implemented in Artsakh.
I was not surprised by his enthusiasm and willingness to support the Homeland again. I am sure that very soon we will meet Andranik Baghdasaryan and all our Diaspora Armenian compatriots, longing for the Homeland, again on their homeland", Harutyunyan wrote.
