The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan made a post on his Facebook page, in which he urges pupils and students to voluntarily isolate themselves or limit contacts.

Dear parents, pupils and students, we have already informed that the educational process in universities and general education institutions starts in the second half of September (except for freshmen).
In order to fully implement the educational process throughout the year, to avoid new restrictions, we ask you to provide limited communication between students on September 1-14, voluntary isolation, in order to cut the chains of the epidemic as much as possible and not bring the virus to school from the beginning, thus helping the health care system to further reduce the number of infected.
Significant restrictions on communication will most likely help to continue the learning process without deviations, with already approved programs.
"Thank you for your cooperation and your civic stance", the minister wrote.
