The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 11:00, on August 17, a total of 41,701 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 34,655 are recovered and 824 are fatal. At present 5,978 patients are being treated for coronavirus. In total 185,594 tests were performed.
On August 17, 38 new positive cases have been registered, 71 have recovered, 6 deaths (men 59, 45 women 72, 82, 82, 74). All of them had side chronical diseases.
1 death was reported the previous day when patients were diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, but died of another illness. The total number of such cases is 244.
