At today's government sitting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the atmosphere of partnership should become a priority for businesses.
The Prime Minister recalled the discussion held two years ago, when the business people were told that the state budget is our common pocket, and we should not do everything to pay a penny less to the budget.
"After the meetings with me, the businessmen say they are dissatisfied. Shouldn't we think about our behavior ?. What does it mean not to print a cash register receipt ?. At that time they said that the government was corrupt - everyone takes, we take too. And now I say that this corruption phenomenon still remains. Not printing a cash register receipt is stealing a soldier's bread", said the Prime Minister.
He also referred to the complaints about the property tax.
"Not only the whole property of Armenia was privatized for a penny, but not a single penny of tax was paid after that. We have to return to the previous period and raise the discipline and standards of business in the strictest way", said Nikol Pashinyan.
According to the Prime Minister the problem of our business is that the standards are always set at the lowest.
"We have to set a very clear standard. We have to ask the business - whether we are a partner or not", Nikol Pashinyan stated.
