On August 12, at 03:29 local time (23:29 GMT), the Seismic Protection Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations registered an earthquake, the center of which was located 12 km south-east of Igdir, Turkey.
The depth of the epicenter is 10 km, the magnitude - 4.2. The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 5-6. The earthquake was also felt in the regions of Armavir and Ararat of Armenia with a magnitude of 4, in Yerevan with a magnitude of 3-4.
