Even if we do not have coronavirus infections or deaths tomorrow, we must be very careful, in no case can we declare our country free of coronavirus. The RA President Armen Sargsyan stated this during a meeting with the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"Countries are not closed, we are not a closed system, if there is no virus inside, it is enough for one person from outside to be infected, this process will start again. I hope that even if there is a second wave, we will be able to overcome it, as we already have experience", said the President.
According to Armen Sargsyan, there are sectors of the economy that will take this whole process very hard, they will need the support of the state and the government.
"I am glad that the government is thinking about them and taking steps in that direction. However, I think that these steps will continue, because it will take a long time to overcome the current difficult situation, which is not only economic but also social.
There are also problems with jobs, there are demographic problems with that. People whose workplace has been outside Armenia for many years now do not have that opportunity. People who had jobs today, yesterday, do not have them today", the president said.
He stressed that common efforts should be united to solve these problems.
