The Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan will leave for Beirut on a plane delivering Armenian aid to Lebanon to assess the needs of our compatriots on the spot, the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told a government sitting today.
The Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan said that preparations are already underway and the aid program will be completed this evening. Several versions of the aircraft are being discussed. The amount and type of aid will most likely be clear tonight, Avinyan said.
"We assume that the flight will take place on Saturday, and several options, which are currently being discussed in our office, I think will be clear at the end of the day", said Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan.
