The devastation caused by the explosion in the port of Beirut is widespread in the Armenian-populated regions, as well as in the whole Beirut. Buildings collapsed, churches were damaged, and the building of Armenian Haigazian University was damaged.
At the moment we have information about three dead Armenians and about 100 injured. But these numbers, unfortunately, can increase, because the number of missing people is large.
At present, together with our partners, we are considering, evaluating various scenarios of targeted first aid to the brotherly people of Lebanon. The RA Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan stated this.
