The RA Prime Minister's wife Anna Hakobyan sent a letter of condolences to the wife of the Lebanese President, Mrs. Nadia Chami Aoun, and expressed her support in connection with the August 4 explosion in Beirut.
"Dear Mrs. Aoun,
Dear Nadia,
I am deeply shocked by this great tragedy in Lebanon. I share with you this grave grief, I express my support to the families and relatives of the victims. I wish all the wounded a speedy recovery.
The Armenian people stand by fraternal Lebanon, praying for the speedy overcoming of the consequences of this tragedy and for the country to return to normal.
We are with you in these hard days with our prayers and thoughts. May God grant patience, perseverance and peace to the friendly people of Lebanon.
I believe that the "Pearl of the Middle East" will emerge from this crisis stronger and more united.
