According to the preparation plan of the Artsakh Defense Army for the 2020 academic year, command meetings were held in the Defense Army on July 27-29 to check the training level of military unit commanders and their deputies, to increase the level of professional knowledge, theoretical-practical skills and abilities.
The first lecture with the participants of the gathering was given by the Head of the Artsakh Defense Ministry, commander of Defense Army, Major General Jalal Harutyunyan. He considered important such gatherings on such a scale in the context of theoretical and practical exercises - to strengthen the daily life of the troops and continuously increasing the combat effectiveness of the military units.
On July 29 the President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan was present at the summing up of the results of the command meetings. Welcoming the participants of the final meeting, the President noted that the country's army, which is the security guarantee, is brilliantly carrying out all the set military tasks, contributing to the maintenance of peace and security in the region.
Touching upon the provocative actions unleashed by Azerbaijan on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, the threatening statements made by the country's military-political leadership, Arayik Harutyunyan noted that not only should one be ready to retaliate against the provocative actions of the enemy, but also, if necessary, move hostilities to Azerbaijani territory.
As a result of summarizing the command gatherings, a group of servicemen with the best results were encouraged, and the participating officers were given the necessary instructions for the organization of further service
