Today the RA Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan noted during the briefing that a slow decline in new cases of coronavirus infection is observed.
"We have not a problem with hospitalization for a long time. On the contrary, we now have a lot of vacant hospital beds, both with normal oxygen supply and resuscitation beds, which are not actually occupied. We need to decide what to do with them", the minister said.
According to Torosyan, 3 medical centers, probably Vanadzor Infectious Diseases Hospital, Medical Centers of Vedi and Dilijan, will return to their main work from August 1.
"Yervan's three centers will also return to their main work in the next 7-10 days if the situation maintains the same pace. We will not have an extra bed fund, but at the same time the bed fund, around 2700-800, will always be ready to expand in a day or two so that we can meet those challenges if that happens", said the Minister of Health.
