In an interview with RBC today, commenting on the anti-Armenian attacks carried out by Azeris living in Russia, I said that they were not only an expression of the Azerbaijani leadership's anti-Armenian rhetoric, but also an attempt to destabilize Russia and make Russia a stage for ethnic clashes.

"There is no doubt that the Russian authorities have all the means and capabilities to prevent such a development. But our compatriots in Russia, in their turn, should not give in to provocations, they should understand that third forces, which have expansionist-anti-Armenian aspirations in the South Caucasus, are interested in destabilizing Russia.
We will not allow it.
